Buckshot Roulette IRL

I really like Buckshot Roulette, and one day I thought it would be really funny to make it in real life. So I did just that. I designed the table in a Home Depot while buying the wood, and accidentally made it super tall. I made the shotgun using such improper techniques as a chainsaw, a piece of sandpaper on a sawhorse for a sharp edge, among other atrocities. This project also uses tasers instead of a real shotgun, because killing people is bad or something. I swear I'm not crazy.

This project is still a work in progress, after working out an issue with the taser shorting the entire power supply I hope to paint it and add items, as well as install moving elements.

The shotgun runs on a Raspberry Pi Pico 2W, and connects to the same WiFi network as the main table, which is powered by a Raspberry Pi Zero 2W. The shotgun runs python with a weird socket library and the table runs, god help us all, javascript. Using javascript was a terrible idea, but by the time I got to the table I was sick of python and too lazy to write anything in C. The code is available here.

I'm hoping to at least get this project to a usable state by the end of Summer 2026, and my end goal is to exhibit at Opensauce 2027.
